Strength In His Presence

Courage is not the absence of fear but the presence of God in the midst of it.

Reflection

One of my favorite Bible verses is Joshua 1:9, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (NIV)

Joshua’s strength came not from his own ability, but from the assurance that God was with him.

The same is true for us—our courage grows as we anchor ourselves in His promises.

Fear fades when we remember we never stand alone.

My writings for October will focus on how to maintain our strength and courage through the various ups and downs of life.
