Reflection:
For nearly four decades, I’ve started each morning by surrendering my will and my life over to God. Sobriety has taught me that life is lived one day at a time, and the same holds for walking in God’s will—His plan, not mine.
Recovery isn’t marked by one dramatic moment of surrender but by a thousand quiet choices made daily.
Each small surrender—each “yes” to God and “no” to self—builds a foundation of freedom, peace, and strength.
Heavenly Father, I pray for the knowledge of your will for me today, and the power to carry it out. Amen.
Soul Search:
What do I need to release to God today?
Luke 22:42 – “Not my will, but yours be done.”
