Random thoughts about Tolle’s quote…
I see a lot of people these days impatiently chasing the next shiny object.
But that chase often pulls us away from knowing who we truly are—and even further from what God has planned for us.
I was one of those shiny-object chasers. At 28, I finally “came to,” and spent the next 20 years doing the hard, internal work—getting the inside right so I could be of value on the outside. That’s what I feel I’m doing today.
Shiny objects fade fast. When they do, we just chase more. Wealth and things never last. But a life well-lived—one anchored in purpose and faith—is a life that lasts forever.
Proverbs 6:3, “Seek His will in all you do and He will direct your path.” (NLT)
