As we celebrate Independence Day, we’re reminded that freedom was never meant to be an end—it’s a beginning.
As I reflect on almost 250 years, it is evident that our Founding Fathers didn’t just fight for the right to be free; they fought for the opportunity to live with purpose freely.
Freedom isn’t the absence of restraint—it’s the presence of meaningful direction.
The same is true in our lives: when we find clarity in our God-given purpose, we use our freedom not for comfort, but for calling, not just for ourselves, but as a way to serve others.

So today, as fireworks light up the sky and flags wave proudly, pause to ask yourself:
- What am I free for?
- How can I use my freedom to make a difference?
Because the greatest way to honor freedom is to live with purpose…IMO
“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.” —Galatians 5:13 (NIV)
