Reflection
Can I be honest with you? I used to have a hellion side to me—rowdy, reckless, and wired for mischief.
Then, I hit a season where only God could pull me out of the pit I had dug.
There, I began to learn that God works best with obedient hearts.
Over time—slowly but surely—He’s been replacing my rebellious streak with a spirit of obedience.
With obedience comes peace of mind.
Obedience is rarely glamorous. It often appears as small choices—turning the other cheek, staying honest when no one is watching, loving someone hard to love… a note to self.
In God’s kingdom, obedience is the pathway to blessing. Not just material blessings but peace, purpose, and the joy of knowing you’re aligned with His will.
When God called Abraham, he didn’t see the whole picture. He just obeyed. That simple step of faith changed history.
Our obedience today may not make headlines, but it echoes in eternity.
God doesn’t ask for perfection—He asks for your “yes.” Your consistent obedience, especially in hidden moments, invites His favor into your life.
Thought for the Day:
Today, ask yourself: “What is God asking of me right now?” Trust Him. Obey, even when it’s hard. Blessing follows obedience—not always immediately, but always inevitably…and yes, I always write from experience.
Deuteronomy 28:1 – “If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth.”
