Reflection
Most Wednesdays are coaching days for me; sometimes, I walk away feeling like I’ve received more than I’ve given. That happened this past Wednesday after I met with two passionate leaders whose work is deeply missional.
Their focus wasn’t on themselves but on their work for others. Both were true servant leaders.
As part of my 2025 Lenten writings, I reflect on keys to a healthy, productive mindset. Knowing and living your mission is an excellent nutrient for this mindset.
Years ago, I wrote my mission statement: “Inspiring others to dream more, be more, and live in the light more.” It’s not just words—it’s a guidepost. When distractions try to steal my peace, my mission keeps me grounded…my mouth closed…and out of trouble. 🙂
A God-breathed mission brings clarity, silencing fear, doubt, and regret. It anchors your mind and spirit, helping you move with divine intention.
Seek God’s guidance in developing your life mission statement, write it down, and live by it.
A life rooted in His purpose is a life of peace, no matter the craziness in the world.
Thought for the day…From Jesus’ perspective of service, what does True Greatness look like for you? That’s His mission for you.
Mark 10:45 – “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
