Reflection
Although I agree with Hill’s statement, we must be careful when we chase our desires because some of our desires are of the flesh, and desires of the flesh (at least for me) can lead to not-so-desirable outcomes.
What are your desires?
Do they align with who and whose you are?
Do they align with your values and principles?
If so, have you prayerfully turned them over to God continuously?
Psalm 37:4, “Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”
