Reflection
Recently, a friend of mine shared some not-so-good news about his health.
This friend is a great family man, an entrepreneur, a long-distance runner, a true servant-leader, and, most importantly, a humble man of faith.
After sharing his news, he said, “I’ve decided to walk in the light during this journey.”
In essence, he decided to counter his fear with faith.
I don’t believe there is any better antidote to helping him fight through his condition than to stay in the light.
Please join me in shining light on my friend through prayer each morning and evening.
If you need a name, simply refer to him as “the runner guy”—God knows who he is.
John 8:12, “Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life.â€
