You cannot out-sin God’s grace…
Shame is another fear-based emotion the devil loves to get us to immerse ourselves in. I’ve seen my fair share of “paralyzed” lives because of shame.
We sin and the devil tries his best to convince us what we’ve done is unforgivable in God’s eyes. Then after a few more poor decisions the shame compounds and we reach a point where we don’t care whether we sin or not because we’ve allowed the devil to convince us we are going to hell.
What is crazy is there are churches and church people the devil works through to communicate to the “sinners” their destination.
Well here is the deal. God speaks through Paul in the book of Romans and says “you can’t out-sin my grace.”
Romans 5:20, “God’s law was given so that all people could see how sinful they were. But as people sinned more and more, God’s wonderful grace became more abundant.”
These words from Paul are not telling us we have a free ticket to sin; they are telling us we have a free ticket to grace.
All we need to do is seek God’s grace with a repentant heart (can be done alone in conversation with God…) and His grace is free for the taking.
I’m not worthy but that doesn’t matter to God because none of us are.
God is good!

1 John 1:8, “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, his is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
