Reflection
You may have noticed that I did not share a writing yesterday.
I wrote at least a half dozen thoughts that ended up being deposited in my trash bin.
Nothing I wrote made sense, and I couldn’t figure out why, so I gave up.
Then I figured it out.
I didn’t know what to write because I was in a new era of “Mother’s Day” while still grieving the past.
So, I surrendered and gave up trying to capture my thoughts because they were unretrievable.
Back to the opening quote.
What things in your life do you need to let go of needing to understand?
Oftentimes peace is found in the middle of surrender and acceptance.
Psalm 147:5, “Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; his understanding is beyond measure.”
