Reflection
Years ago, I noted a dozen key mentors and role models.
Over the last few years, seven of them have passed to the eternal.
Sadly, two of the seven left me this weekend.
Well, they didn’t leave me.
None of them left me.
That’s the neat thing about mentors. The good they deposit into your character never goes away, and we keep their deposits alive by passing them on to others.
Questions
Who mentors you?
Who are you mentoring?
Although, at this moment, my heart aches with loss, it is overflowing with gratitude and driven by a deep desire to pass my mentors’ wisdom to the next generation.
That’s how we keep the world improving, I guess.
