This is my favorite time of the year. As a former basketball player it is impossible to not get excited about March Madness. I always enjoy watching the games but I especially tune into the 2nd half of most of the games as we are always guaranteed some wild finishes. The winners in this tournament are the teams who finish strong.
The winners in life are those of us who finish strong.
So my challenge to all of you is: LET’S FINISH STRONG!  We are only six days away from closing out this Lenten series of “Whipping the devil (fear)” and it’s time to not only whip the devil, but let’s crush him.
The best way to crush the devil and all of his fear antics is to have an unwavering faith in God. Faith beats fear every day of the week. Close strong by making a promise to yourself to speak at the devil every time he rears his ugly head.
My favorite words I use in order to speak at the devil; “By the blood of Jesus, devil be gone.” Create a line to talk at the devil and close out this week strong. If you don’t believe in Jesus, then tell the devil to go to…his home…if you know what I’m saying.
There are all kinds of upsets during March Madness but God beating the devil is never an upset it is the way God created things…use Him to crush the devil and finish strong.
