Reflection
When I came across the opening quote a couple of days ago, I thought, “The world seems to have a lot more cursers than candle lighters these days.”
The enemy loves cursers and has increased them exponentially over the last two years of the pandemic. The more complainers and cursers we have in the world, the darker the world becomes.
As Christ-followers, we inherit an infinite supply of candles to counter the devil’s desire to make our world dark…but we have to choose to light those candles.
What we do with darkness is a choice.
Question
Over the last two years, have you been a candle lighter for Christ or a darkness bearer for the enemy?
John 1:5, “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
John 8:12, “Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.â€
