Reflection
Being somewhat of a quote freak, one of my all-time favorite quotes is, “Courage is fear that’s been prayed for.”
I have a team of over sixty people I pray for every morning. All of them are facing challenges, whether with addiction, life, or health.
As I write, fourteen of them are battling the C-word.
Although each member of my prayer team is in a unique battle, I pray an all-inclusive prayer for God to give them the courage to continue to forge ahead.
That list also serves as a great reminder to me that my challenges are nothing compared to theirs.
Fact
When faced with a challenging situation, we are always going to have fear. What we do with it makes all the difference…courage is definitely fear that’s been prayed for.
Philippians 4:6-7, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Â And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Â (ESV)
