There is so much truth to the opening quote…I experienced life from the dead after getting honest with myself about my addiction disorder. My addiction disorder arose from my inability to handle reality, i.e. the truth. I ended up creating my own “truth” which was nothing but a big lie.
Truth truly is an insult when we are not living in the truth. For years I was either the hero or the victim…I was never at fault.
In what areas of your life are you avoiding the truth?
Turn them over to God as often as you need and you will eventually be set free.
I always write from experience.
John 8:32, “And you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.”
