His Road

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I---I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.

— Robert Frost —

Throughout my life, I’ve traversed down some less-traveled roads.  Some because of stupidity, others because of rebellion, but mostly because I’ve always been my own person who has slowly transformed into being a man of God who tries his best to stay on His road.

It seems as though our world today has become somewhat robotic (especially in the U.S.), where people would rather be told what to do and simply fall in line and do it.  I believe we’ve become way too willing to let others do our thinking for us.

Although Frost is referring to the road our life takes, I believe our thinking determines the road we take.

In his book, How Successful People Think,  John Maxwell quotes Kevin Myers:  “The problem with popular thinking is it requires no thinking at all.”

How is your thinking?  Does it follow the popular road or the road not yet taken?

There is a better road.

It’s called the high road, A.K.A., His road…it’s peaceful there.
