The opening quote caught my eye yesterday morning as I was sitting in my office listening to the tunes of the Baltimore oriole choral ensemble.
God started sending this gift our way about six years ago.
A couple of days ago our bird feeders were also visited by orchard orioles as well as a summer tanager. We had never seen either of those species of birds before and thanks to Google images we were able to identify them.
I have a feeling they’ve been around in previous years but we were probably too busy to enjoy them.
The downtime afforded to us through this pandemic has certainly opened our eyes to all of the simple upsides that God has created for our pleasure.
Back to the opening quote.
So true.
Perspective (how you view life) is everything.
No matter how bad things are, you can always make them better…if you choose.
