A couple of weeks ago God was nudging me to climb out of my isolation cell and meet a friend for lunch. I am an introvert by nature which is not a good trait when it comes to grieving and/or going through the valleys of life.
I finally mustered up the energy to give my friend a call and we met.
He too has been through the proverbial wringer over the past few months.
During our lunch, we spent very little time commiserating about our challenges. Instead, our conversation was primarily focused on all the good things that were happening in our lives.
After lunch, I felt as though a few pounds of “burden” had been lifted from me. I’m assuming he felt the same way.
Life is funny that way.
When I saw the quote by Cicero it made me think of that lunch I had with my friend.
I am grateful to have a couple of friends I can call on to lessen my grief and expand my joy.
God created friends for just that.
How about you? Do you have a friend or friends you are grateful for? Do they know who they are?
Ecclesiastes 4:9, “Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor.”

E – (Effort) Turning your dream into reality requires a commitment to putting forth consistent and focused EFFORT toward the execution of your plan.
A – (Attitude) If you think you can achieve your dream, you will. Your ATTITUDE always determines your altitude in life.
