Gratitude and High Frequency

Gratitude will shift you to a higher frequency, and you will attract much better things.

— Rhonda Byrne —

The opening quote is so true. Our attitude attracts our eyes and our hearts to people, places, and things and an attitude of gratitude will attract us to the best God has to offer.

Why is it so difficult to remain in a grateful state?

Some thoughts…

There is no greater gratitude deflator than self-pity and self-pity is from the devil.

Self-pity never attracts anything good…unless you consider getting others to feel sorry for you as something that is good.

I have a very low tolerance of those who sit around feeling sorry for themselves…probably because I used to spend a lot of time on the pity pot back in the day.

The game-changer for me occurred when I was finally able to stay sober long enough to see all that I had to be grateful for. This new found gratitude opened my eyes and my heart to the beauty around me. It took my life to a higher frequency. I began living with a purpose.

The following is an excerpt from my book, “Victory Over Opiates,” (available on Amazon). It was at this moment where I recall my life returning to a higher frequency…a frequency only produced by our Heavenly Creator.

The “forgotten years” of my life had finally come to an end.

With the help of many, I had climbed out of my self-induced prison of addiction and was now reentering a life of freedom which my addiction had stolen from me.

Gray was no longer the only color I saw. The sky was blue. The grass was green. Flowers were bright and vibrant. The people around me were alive.

The only thing that had changed was me.

What is getting in your way of living your life at a higher frequency?

What do you have to be grateful for?

1 Corinthians 9:26, “So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing.”
