Altitude-Attitude-Gratitude

My attitude always determines the altitude of my life. When I live with an attitude of gratitude I'm living at my highest altitude.

— JMeyer —

During a span of two months during my sophomore year of playing college basketball, I rose from the pits of being a bench warmer to being a member of our team’s starting five. I went from not getting any playing time to playing all the time.

My skills didn’t change.

I didn’t grow taller and run faster.

I didn’t gain physical strength.

I changed one thing…

My Attitude.

The attitude change began when I became grateful for the fact that I had the talents and skills to play college basketball.

Is your attitude getting in the way of the plans God has for you?

Philippians 4:8-9, “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.”

P.E.A.C.E. for Dreamers…

P – (Plan) A dream remains a dream until it is written down. Putting your dream in writing is the first step in creating a PLAN to achieve it.

E – (Effort) Turning your dream into reality requires a commitment to putting forth consistent and focused EFFORT toward the execution of your plan.

A – (Attitude) If you think you can achieve your dream, you will. Your ATTITUDE always determines your altitude in life.

C – (Community) Nothing great in life happens by doing it alone. The chances of realizing your dream expand as your COMMUNITY of positive mentors and peers expand.

E – (Energy) Chasing and attaining your dream requires optimal levels of mental, physical, and spiritual ENERGY. Take care of yourself!
