Have you ever been stuck in a rut?
Getting and staying in a rut is a place the devil loves for us to live.
I feel so blessed to say ruts have not been a part of my life since I got into recovery 32 years ago.
I wake up every day realizing this could be the last.
I wake up every day with responsibilities that rely on me being ready, willing, and able to take on whatever the world throws at me.
I wake up every day with a set of goals I hope to fulfill.
What do I do different today when compared to 32 years ago?
I wake up every day and die to myself and turn my life over to God by saying the following:
- I can’t
- God can
- I think I’ll let Him
God obviously doesn’t like ruts and comfort…He wants us to live in an uncomfortable groove.
Hebrews 13:21, “equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.”
