Many years ago I recall sitting on the pity pot because of our special son Jordan. He wasn’t what I was expecting but he was definitely what I needed. (Our expectations often cloud the blessings God is trying to throw our way).
At some point in our journey I began appreciating Jordan for who he was and today I am grateful God saw fit to bless our family with our special guy.
When I got out of the ‘why me?’ state of mind and into ‘why not me?’, I began to see the blessings Jordan brought to our family and others.
The opening quote is most certainly true for me. How about you?
November is gratitude month…get your gratitude on by opening your eyes to all the great things you have to be thankful for.
Stop struggling and start thanking.
