Power Source

Ephesians 6:10, “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.”

Psalms 121:2, “My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.”

Question:  Where do you draw your power and strength from today?  Is it alcohol?  Is it exercise?  Is it your spouse?  Is it your kids?  Is it drugs?  Is it your job?  Is it your house?  Is it your car?  Is it your body?  Is it your position?  Is it your degree(s)?  Is it your friends?  Is it someone else’s body?  Is it a relationship?  Is it food?  Is it shopping?  Is it sex? Is it from other people who “motivate” you?  Is it your IPad?  Is it your clothes?  Is it your hair?  Is it _______ (fill in the blank).

We have access to the power that created heaven and earth and all things in it and around it.  Why wouldn’t we always first draw power from that source?

Don’t wait for all of these other power sources to run out of juice before you begin drinking the real energy drink.  Drink from His cup first in all you do and life becomes much more productive, meaningful and powerful.
