The opening quote has a lot of truth to it. The walls we build around ourselves are usually walls that are born from fear.
I do not believe any of us are immune from fear. It comes in all shapes, forms and sizes. What we do with it is the key.
The opposite of fear is faith, and faith is simply fear that has been prayed for.
Tomorrow begins a 47 day journey through the season of Lent confronting the various issues fear often creates in our lives.
For those of you who’ve been reading my blog since 2012, you may remember that we did this journey back then and I ended up turning it into a book– “Fear-Proof.”
The next 47 days will basically be “Fear-Proof” Part Two.
