Action and Inspiration

We should be taught not to wait for inspiration to start a thing. Action always generates inspiration. Inspiration seldom generates action.

— Frank Tibolt —

There is no greater inspirational power received than the one we receive by getting off our back side and doing something.  And then as we continue to do something we eventually receive a feeling of accomplishment and accomplishment inspires us to do even more.  And so the cycle continues…

Nothing great ever happens by simply thinking about it, talking about it or planning for it.

‘It’ is always the result of action.

Proverbs 24:30-34, “I went past the field of the sluggard, past the vineyard of the man who lacks judgment; thorns had come up everywhere, the ground was covered with weeds and the stone wall was in ruins.  I applied my heart to what I observed and learned a lesson from what I saw.  A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest–and poverty will come on you like a bandit and scarcity like an armed man.”
