We have met the enemy and he is us. Â ~ Walt Kelly
If you are just joining us, this is day fifty-four in a series focused on living a life by design instead of default.
We spent seven weeks designing our Life Playing Field and we are now taking a look at key areas of our personal life (Wheel of Life-Focus Areas) that play integral roles in making the life we want to live (our playing field), a reality.

LIFE PLAYING FIELD
Creating a playing field for your life helps you live life by design instead of default.
Your life playing field is bound by your Strengths, Passions, Principles, Gifts and Priorities, while being driven by your Purpose, Mission and Vision.

WHEEL OF LIFE – FOCUS AREAS
We may have the greatest intentions in the world when it comes to living our purpose and chasing our dreams.
But our ability of turning our intentions into worthwhile results is greatly reduced if we are not taking care of our WHEEL OF LIFE FOCUS AREAS: Spiritual, Mental, Physical, Relational, Financial.
The last couple of days we’ve been focused on the Spiritual Component of our Wheel of Life. Â I shared with you my simple mantra for keeping my Spiritual condition strong: Â Trust God, Clean House, Help Others.
The past two days we took a look at what trusting God looks like and today we will look at what it means to “clean house.”
1 Peter 2:1-2, “So clean house! Make a clean sweep of malice and pretense, envy and hurtful talk. You’ve had a taste of God. Now, like infants at the breast, drink deep of God’s pure kindness. Then you’ll grow up mature and whole in God.” (MSG)
When you read the scripture above did you stop and reflect on what malice (ill will), pretense (manipulating, shamming), envy (desire to have a quality, possession or attribute of another), and hurtful talk does to your “house?”
It is impossible for the Holy Spirit to effectively dwell in your “house” if it is cluttered with stuff the devil hands too you and encourages you to dwell on.
