HabitFast Journey-Day 12-Starve Your Self-Doubt

Self-doubt is the greatest enemy of any new good habit.

HABIT

Ok, we are only a few days into our HabitFast and I am certain some of you are already having doubts.  Self-doubt is a tool the devil uses so we will stay as we are and not improve.  The key to combating self-doubt is to WANT the future YOU more than the present you while replacing your self-doubt with God’s promises through scripture reading, meditation and prayer.

Self-doubt is a thought we all have to deal with but how we deal with it will decide our future and never forget you do not always need to believe your thoughts. 🙂

If you are a habitual self-doubter, it may be the habit you need to begin starving.  Just a thought.

HabitFast Journey Action Steps:

1.  Start the day-reflect, meditate, journal, and prayerfully turn your plan over to God.

2.  Continue the day- stay in conscience contact with God.

3.  End of day evaluation- reflect, review, journal and give yourself a grade for the day.

4.  End of day planning-review your HabitFast Plan and note your 3 “big rocks” for tomorrow.

5.  End of day prayer-place your plan, big rocks, negative triggers and tomorrow in God’s hands.

2 Timothy 1:7, “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.”  (NIV)
