Walking With

The minute you think you have all the answers is the minute you begin digressing. The wisest people I know have a lot more questions than they do answers.

— JMeyer —

This is day seven of the new year.  I assume you have some goals you are trying to accomplish.  Have you started backsliding into old behaviors?  If not, good for you!

For those of you who are already struggling I suggest you ask yourself the following question; “Who can best help me stay on course during my goal achievement journey?”

My best work was done because of the help of other people.

My worst work was done because of my unwillingness to seek help from others.

The devil uses fear in the form of pride or poor self worth to convince us we either have all the answers or we are not worthy of receiving them from others.

Who are you walking with?

Are you listening to words of wisdom (knowledge + life experience) from others?

Are you taking action based on the suggestions of wise counsel?

Prayer for the day: Heavenly Father, thank you for this new year and my new goals. Please give me the willingness to reach out to You and others for help and support along the way. I pray this in your Son’s name. Amen.

Proverbs 15:22, “Without counsel plans fail, but with many advisers they succeed.”  (ESV)
