I love this quote by Van Gogh. Think about something your heart keeps telling you to do, but your “voice” is telling you, you can’t do it.
If you continue to have a strong desire in your heart to do something that will bless the world, it is most likely God who has planted this desire in you.
The enemy tries his best to prevent us from acting on these types of desires. He would much rather see us act on desires of our flesh which are usually selfish and self-serving and have nothing to do with blessing God’s world.
Who or what are you listening to these days?
If there is a voice in your head saying you can’t do something; who and what is the source of that voice?
Do you have a spiritual accountability partner who can assist you in discerning the truth behind your desires…the truth behind your cans and can’ts?
Prayer for the day: Heavenly Father you have created me for Your use. Please give me the ability to truly know my cans and can’ts and to reach out to others for help in discerning what You are calling me to do. It’s in your Son’s name I pray. Amen.
