When it comes to business, everything rises and falls with leadership and leadership rises and falls with the people the leader surrounds him or herself with.
CAUTION: It’s not enough to surround yourself with great people. You need to train them up and give them the tools to succeed AND listen to them.
I’ve watched some leaders do a great job of recruiting talent, but do an even better job of running the talent off.
