Making The Most – 2018

Make the most of yourself, for that is all there is of you.

— Ralph Waldo Emerson —

This sounds like a great New Year’s commitment to me.

How about you?

What are you most passionate about?

What are your talents (gifts, strengths, life experiences)?

Have you found the place where your talents intersect your passion(s)?

Your God-purpose is found at that intersection.

Let’s make 2018 a year of using our talents to make the world a better place!

Prayer for the day: Heavenly Father please open my eyes, mind, and heart to what you want me to do in order to make your world a better place. It’s in Your Son’s name I pray. Amen.

Psalm 139:13-16 (MSG)

You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.

Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!  Your workmanship is marvelous–how well I know it.

You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.

You saw me before I was born.  Every day of my life was recorded in your book.

Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.
